Welcome to Chertsey Bowling Club

We are a friendly, well established community Lawn Bowling Club, situated at the rear of the recreation park on Guildford Road (next to Sir William Perkins School).  There is an on-site car park and a comfortable club house with bar.  The lawn and grounds are well maintained and offer a relaxing environment to enjoy the game.  Outdoor games are played at the Club from mid April to the end of September.

The club currently has approximately 60 members across varying age groups and we welcome enquiries from bowlers of all abilities from absolute beginners to skilled competition bowlers.  We have a Surrey County player who is a qualified coach and provides free coaching on Friday afternoons for beginners and bowlers who want to work on their play.  There are also roll-ups on Tuesday evenings starting at 5.30pm for friendly club matches and socials.

There is a full fixture list of friendly and league matches being played during the season as well as the North West Surrey finals day being hosted at the club on 28th August 2022.

If you would like to try bowls, come along to one of our open days on Saturday 28th May or Sunday 29th May.  You will get an opportunity to see the club, meet members, get coaching and have an introductory game.

If you have never tried bowls, now's the time to give it a go!  Come along and experience for yourself how good it is to play.  Join us on one of our open days.  Bring your family and enjoy an afternoon of bowls.  If you can't make one of our open days, come along to one of our Tuesday or Friday evening Roll Ups at 5.30pm.  The grounds and pavilion are wheelchair friendly and accessible to all.
