Chertsey Bowling Club is a community-based bowling club. While our primary activity is the sport of bowls, our secondary activity is the provision of community-based facilities for members and the people of Chertsey and surrounding neighbourhoods.
Anyone can play traditional bowls, target bowls, or other fun activities on the bowling green or pavilion. You don't need to wear special clothes and you don't have to be 'sporty' in the traditional sense to be successful at bowls - just wear flat-soled plimsoles/trainers. Bowls is a truly inclusive activity and can be a great leveller for all people including those that may have physical or mental disabilities.
And anyone can join the club as a social member to find new friends and enjoy activities such as our games evenings (Thursdays), our regular summer barbecues, xmas and bank holiday parties.
