1 Membership
Categories
* Full
Playing Member, £130 – access to all
club bowling facilities (league, competitions, roll-ups), vote at AGM, full
rights. Includes bowlers with one or more years’ experience joining from
another club.
* Junior
Member: £10 – for under-18s
(or under-21 in full-time education) playing members.
* First
year playing member: 50% of the full playing member fee i.e. £65 – access to all
club bowling facilities (league, competitions, roll-ups), vote at AGM, full
rights. For novice bowlers i.e. less than one years’ experience only.
* Social
Member (non-playing): £10 – access to
clubhouse, social events, no bowling facilities or full playing privileges.
2 New Joiners-In-Year / Pro-Rata Rules
For novice members joining after the
start of the bowling season (1st April), the membership fee shall be
£10/full month from May to September.
Example: a novice player signs up at
one of the May Open days so will pay from June to September inclusive i.e. 4
months x £10=£40. This means a player
joining in September will pay nothing.
3 Non-member
Guests of Playing Members
A Playing Member may bring non-member
playing guests to play on the green.
Each guest of the Playing Member shall pay £3.50 per session and must sign the visitors book (thus becoming a temporary member and be covered by our insurance and bar licence). The Member is responsible for the fee and must ensure it is paid.
· 4 A social
member wishing to play a one-off session on the green
Shall pay £3.50 per session. They are already a club member
so don’t have to sign the visitors book.
5 A non-member wishing to play a one-off session on the green
Shall pay £3.50. They must sign the visitors book (thus becoming a temporary member and be
covered by our insurance and bar licence).
All fees must be sent to the Club Treasurer.
Note: The annual fee includes member insurance plus £7.50 to Bowls England for each playing member under affiliation rules.
