Welcome to Chertsey Bowling Club
We are a friendly, well established community Lawn Bowling Club, situated at the rear of the recreation park on Guildford Road (next to Sir William Perkins School). There is an on-site car park and a comfortable club house with a bar. The lawn and grounds are well maintained and offer a relaxing environment to play or enjoy the game. Outdoor games are played at the Club from mid April to the end of September.
The club currently has 70+ members across varying age groups and we welcome enquiries from bowlers of all abilities from absolute beginners to skilled competition bowlers. We have a Surrey County player who is a qualified coach and provides free coaching on Tuesday and Friday from 4.30pm for beginners and bowlers who want to work on their play. There are also roll-ups at 5.15pm on Tuesday and Friday evenings where members meet up, have a game and socialise. Come along and meet the members.
There is a full fixture list of friendly and league matches being played during the season.
If you have never tried bowls, now's the time to give it a go! Come along and experience for yourself how good it is to play. Join us on one of our open days. Bring your family and enjoy a game of bowls. If you can't make one of our open days, come along to one of our Tuesday or Friday evening Roll Ups at 5.15pm. The grounds and pavilion are wheelchair friendly and accessible to all.
